Fashion and a high tea are planned Sept. 12 in Menifee in a fundraising event for senior programs and services. The event is set from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Kay Ceniceros Senior Center. It’s the senior center’s second year hosting the event. Last year about 70 people showed up.

What this translated to at Givenchy were beautifully draped, gauzy pieces offset by more statement making head-to-toe printed looks. Russian newcomer Ranya Mordanova modeled the collection, she also stars in Givenchy’s Fall 2009 ad campaign.

It was not too long ago that I got to know Mink Pink. First I spotted its silky LBD with studs on a website, then on Gabrielle Union at an InStyle party. I knew there had to be more fabulousness where that came. Prices are affordable and its designs fresh and youthful.

    Look of the Day: Modern Ballerina


    As mentioned earlier, I’ve been digging the sweet ballerina look lately. There’s something so angelic about it. That’s why my heart fluttered when I saw fashionissimo’s look. This modern ballerina makes me want to run out and get a tutu and pointe shoes. And I love that instead of a leotard, she wore a loose tee.
